for the market structure, Colombia has a wholesale energy market with an

wholesale energy market, power generation companies as well as public, private

There are two markets: Firstly, the Energy Exchange (Bolsa de Energía),
which is a market for short-term deals through daily auctions. And secondly, a market for long-term
contracts.
